RFID Metro Population Manager
An arduino system which manages and tracks metro users as they enter and leave a metro station.
Overview
This project was done as a school project for my software development class. The goal was to create an Arduino-based system for managing and tracking metro users as they enter and leave a metro station. The system uses RFID technology to detect user presence and logs their movements in a database.
Features
- • Arduino
- • RFID Technology
- • MySQL Database
Challenges
Desinging the shemcatic and linking the soaftware compoent of this project was certainly most difficult. I had to do a lot of research on how to link the RFID reader to the arduino, and then link the arduino to the database. I also had to design the shemcatic for the project, which was a challenge in itself. However, I was able to overcome these challenges through persistence and a lot of trial and error.
